Dwight Swisher of Swisher Autos and this repair shop, Gallant Tire & Auto, sold me a car with a 30 day standard written warranty that said transmission is covered and he sold me an extended warranty that also included transmission. I had the car less than 30 days and put well under 100 miles on it when the transmission blew while driving down the I-135 interstate. Cost to fix it was $3,400 which was more than the $3000 I paid Mr. Swisher for the Chrysler 300M. I tried to enforce both the car dealer's (Dwight Swisher) 30 warranty and the extended warranty i purchased and he refused to pay a penny & neither did the fake scam of an extended warranty. The car was not fixable, monetarily feasible, and I only got back $400 of the $3000 I paid from the junkyard to scrap it. I tried piecing out parts to mechanics but they were not what any of the mechanics said people were looking for. So Dwight Swisher of Swisher Used Autos & Gallant Tire, both located here in Lindsborg, Kansas (where I also have resided for the last 15 years - local businesses should take care of local customers-especially when paperwork says they are liable) took me for $3000 minus $400 junkyard gave me. And I am a single mom who went back to college with barely any income right now and no child support on top of him keeping all my money. DON'T BUY OR BE VERY CAUTIOUS BUYING FROM EITHER BUSINESS!!!
I keep returning to Gallant Tire and Automotive because I have come to trust Mr. Gallant with all of my car problems. When he tells me I need or don't need something, I've come to trust that he has my best interests in mind. As a single gal I value that kind of treatment.
I've known Emile for years, went to W.A.T.C. same time he did. worked on a lot of different projects with him. Very knowledgable mechanic. Keep up the good work.
